Top 5 tips to style sarojini market clothes

Today’s blog is all about styling affordable pieces that we often pick from the local markets like Delhi’s famous Sarojini Nagar for 100 bucks and then not being able to make it look presentable or chic due to its poor quality or fit. It is a very common problem which I faced during my college days when I use to buy a lot of clothes from the sarojini and then ended up wearing it ones or twice and then giving it away. It use to happen because of these 5 common mistakes which I use to repeat often, have a read and let me know if we belong to the same group. Also, I have now effectively managed to find out the trick for the same which I will sharing with you guys, keep scrolling to find out.

Tip no 1-

Never ever get carried away with just the look of the outfits or accessories. Take a moment and check for the quality, and eye measure the size before paying.

Tip no 2-

Before buying anything, first design the look you would like to curate with the piece you are buying. Then pay for it, otherwise you won’t be able to make a good use out it after one or two wear.

Tip no 3-

Never style everything from a local market or street shops that you own together. It can some time look tacky! When you dress head to toe with only local wears it doesn’t look that appealing. Styling different pieces from your wardrobe with the clothes from local markets will make them look more chic and elegant.

Like I got these pants from sarojini for only 200 bucks but fitting is not great so pairing with another ill fitted piece wouldn’t look presentable. Therefore, I chose a top that I got from Myntra and then finished the look with a bag from allen solly. Also the shoe adds a statement to the entire look.

Tip no 4-

Styling sarojini market’s clothes with accessories, good pair of shoe, make up and hair can add a lot of element to your look. In this way even a simple dress like I am wearing now can look stylish.

Tip no 5-

Denim jackets are one such versatile piece that everyone should own. If you are someone who visits sarojini often then you must be knowing the market base for denims there. Pairing a light denim jacket in summer with your tube tops or tank tops is one of the best styling tip that I have come across. No matter what is your body type this look would complement anyone and everyone.

Having said all the tips, I would also like to say that fashion as no rules. You can make and break any rule to make your own statement but always keep in mind the look you choose should be best for you not for others.
