Hello beauties,
How is it going?
As you already must have seen from the tittle of the blog, today we will talk about styling bralettes in different ways that to without looking valgure.
Yes, I do understand that pulling off a bralette isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, some might feel uncomfortable wearing it just as top and some might just rock that look with ulter confidence. Personally, I am someone who doesn’t fall in the later category. As much as I love bralettes on a daily basis, I do feel uncomfortable wearing it just as a top.
I believe fashion is something that should accentuate your inner self and moreover should define your style.
Also, fashion for me is Comfort and Elegance. So, if you also belive the same then keep scrolling.
First things first, what are bralettes? In simple terms these are modified, designed version of your regular bras! They will provide you a little less support compared to the regular bra but would definitely add on to the entire asthethics of your look. It is like a crop top that you can wear instead of a bra. It is comfortable and looks stylish. Although it isn’t a great option for the heavy busted ladies as it doesn’t provide a lot of support. Also, sizing can be an issue with some brands therefore, be a little careful about the measurements when you buy online.
I would suggest you to buy two basic colors if you are new to the world of bralettes. First being a sexy black and other being a lovely white. Other colors like dark reds or blues can also look really good if styled well.
5 different ways to style a bralette:
As a crop top

You can wear it as a top and pair it with a denim jacket. In this way you won’t expose a lot of skin and still look very sexy and dressy. It is best during summers as you can throw on some really light material shrug or thin denim jacket on top.

As an inner under your see through tops
It is my favorite way to style bralettes. I love my white basic tees or shirts but the worst part about whites are they can be really sheer. Having a white bralette peeking through your top will not only look very stylish but will also be easy to wear during this hot weather.

Under deep cut outfits

The bitter truth about backless or front open clothes are painful lingeries, right? Those sticky pads or tapes can be really uncomfortable during humid climates. Also this isn’t a practical option for everyday causals. Now style your bralette under a deep back or front top and see the magic. It looks way too put together and classy than your normal backless outfits.

As a blouse for your saree
It might look little experimental and risky to a lot of people but trust me wearing a bralette with your saree is really fashionable. Sometimes during emergencies we often tend to borrow saree from our moms and usually the blouse doesn’t fit. Last minute stitchings isn’t an option always, for those days try wearing bralettes. You will definitely thank me later.
Under your Indian outfits to give it a modern twist

Last but definitely not the least is wearing a bralette under your traditional Indian wears such as a see through or sheer maxi dress or kurta. Now, as much as I love wearing Indian, it is also an unavoidable truth that during summers it is really hard to pull off the entire traditional vibe. I like to wear those cotton kurtas but I also love my gorgeous georgette kurtas. Sheer Kurtis needs some kind of inners always that’s why I often ditch them during summers. But now we have a bralette to the rescue. You can pair a similar color bralette under your kurta and you are good to go. It’s asthethic and comfortable at the same time.

Hope you enjoyed reading and learnt something from the blog which would add on to your fashion sense.
Keep smiling!
