Heyyy,

How are you all doing today?

Highlighters have become a big obsession for all make up lovers! It is no longer a new trend though but craving for that subtle within the skin glow has made the addition of highlighters mandatory in every makeup junkie’s stash.

The beginning of 2019 was fully dominated by that on the face highlight trend or as we call it glowing like a goddess look but towards the end of the April, we can clearly see a swift shift towards more subtle highlights. A soft glowy and dewy makeup trend is all over the internet. As we are already mid way through April 2019 and our love for the glowing healthy skin is accelerating day by day, I thought to share my top 5 highlighter for Indian skin. I have handpicked one highlighter each based on their texture and formula.

The very first one is a cream highlighter and what’s better than a classic Mac strobe cream. I just love how my skin looks after I use this under my foundation or just simply as a cream under my sunscreen. I love the soft yet glam look it gives me. And it is very glowy if you just concentrate it on the highest points of your face.

The next pick is from NYX which is called the ideal illuminating stick. I just love how beautifully it blends into my skin. I looks very natural and skin like. A definite must have for beginners.

This is an extremely pigmented liquid highlighter from make up revolution. It look like molten rose gold, you need to apply just a drop of it on your cheek bones to get that shiny goddess look. This liquid highlight is best for functions or pictures, I wouldn’t suggest wearing it on a daily basis though.

This highlighter is not for the faint hearted girls. It is blinding but you can definitely control the amount according to you liking. I love this make revolution skin kiss highlighter a lot for parties or special occasions. The texture is little shimmery but it doesn’t look artificial on the skin.

Last but definitely not the least is my favorite highlighter from wet n wild in shade precious petals. I use it everyday. It is glowy and dewy on skin and is best for everyday use. It has a creamy yet powdery texture which almost feels like a butter on the skin.

About Cactus & Sunflower

"Cactus & Sunflower" is  Grishma Satpathy's new venture in the digital space. The name comes from her deep relation

with her grandmother and the impressions of cactus and sunflower in their lives. As a child she used to share all her curiosities

about the plants with her 'MAA'. Her grandmother believed that 'Grishma' and 'Sunflower' have so much in common;

both are associated with sun and is the ultimate source of light. She always said Grishma to always make sure to carry

that light within yourself wherever you go and whatever you do.
