Top 5 Red lipsticks for New Year’s party

The red lips never goes out of the trend.Today’s post focuses on my top 5 red lipsticks which are perfect for the new years parties and the fall season!

1. Revlon ultra HD lip color:

To start off , let me introduce you girls to my favorite and only liquid lipstick in the list. It is the Revlon ultra Hd lip colour. The shade which I have is HD romance ,bright red color is universally flattering and smells heavenly.

Pros: Stays up to 6hours.

Semi-matte finish.

Smooth texture and glides like butter.

Cons: Transferable.

Little on the high end side.

Not matte as it claims.

2.Loreal pair collection star:

The perfect red lipstick for everyone is Mac’s ruby woo and I know it is quite matte but at the same time drying on the lips. Mac is not an affordable option. Presenting you girls a perfect dupe for ruby woo. It is Loreal’s pure rouge, this is a perfect red shade for parties . It is from the star collection and this shade is from Freida Pinto color.

Pros: Non draying. Semi-matte.

Stays upto 7 hours.

Affordable (can get on discounts ) Cons:

Transferable.

3.Revlon super lustrous lipstick:

Revlon has no doubt best formulation when it comes to lipsticks. And I own a perfect red bullet lipstick which is very creamy and smooth on the lips. The shade is love is on from the limited edition collection.

Pros: Vibrant red. Stays for 6 hours. Comfortable on lips.

Affordable.

Cons: Do Transfers.

Not that long staying .

4.Rouge Dior:

Coming to the high end options. The two shades which I have are from Dior. The 1st red shade is 999 called rouge dior.

Pros: Glossy finish. Comfortable. Good color pay off.

Cons: Not that long stay. Not too pigmented.

5.Dior addict 976:

The second shade is called Dior addict 976.

Pros: Glossy pink based red.

Best for lighter complexions.

Moisturizing.

Perfect for winters.

Cons: Not that long stay .

Have to apply 3 or more times to get the exact color.

These were my recommendation for the perfect red shades. These shades are universally flattering specially the the 1st three shades. If you are from India then the 1st three shades are your options. They are affordable and shades matches Indian skin tone perfectly. They are comfortable and quite long lasting. The bring and dark shades are perfect for parties. Be it Christmas or New year’s Eve, a red mouth can do wonders.
