Throwback to Holy Grails of 2017

Wishing everyone a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 🎆🎇🎊 .Today is 1st of January 2018 and I am writing my 1st blog of the year!! Feeling very happy as my blogs are loved by many now😍! Hope this year brings more happiness and togetherness … I will continue to write and enjoy my passion this year too! I hope you guys will support me more and bear with me as well..😃 So let’s a take this moment to appriciate the most popular and rated products of 2017. Before continuing with the post, let me clear that the products which I will be writing about are choosen by me only. I researched by watching YouTube videos and reading blogs, I even collected data from shopping websites. So if I am leaving some products then it might be because I don’t have much information about it or I wouldn’t have come across them while researching.

1. Colorbar : Starting with the most popular primer. The Colorbar Perfect Match primer which again became the top rated product this year . Affordable– The colorbar perfect match primer which is priced at Rs 660/- . Perfect base : It helps in reducing the appearance of large pores and fine lines, and make the makeup last longer. Doesn’t clog pores : The Colorbar Perfect Match primer is a transparent gel that feels smooth and satiny on the skin. Its creamy texture allows it to be blended easily into the skin.Colorbar kiss proof lip stain: This is one of my favorite lip products. I just love the texture and finish of the lipstick. It is completely transfer proof and matte. It also lasts long!! I love mauve dusk 006 and haute latte 007. It flatters almost all skin tones.Colorbar velvet matte lipsticks are another pick from the brand. It is priced at Rs 250/- and has a wide range of colors to choose from. It gives a creamy matte finish and stays from 6-7hours on the lips.

2. Lakme: Lakme absolute blur perfect make up primer is again one of the loved primers. It is priced at Rs 650/- and again claims to give a smooth canvas for the make up to apply and stay. It has a slightly pinky texture and it blurs out the pores and spots and helps in making the skin even.The lip and cheek stain from the house of Lakme named as 9 to 5 weightless mousse lip and cheek color is a dual usuage product which can be applied as a blush and a lip stain at a lot. It has a creamy texture and glides like butter. It has a good staying power but is not transfer proof and completely matte. It delivers a good amount of product at an affordable price at Rs 600/- .

3. Coming to the brand which has been ruling the market this year. Maybelline New York’s fit me range was one of the most selling products. Foundations, concealer and compact. The mascaras are the best products Maybelline has. The lash sensational, the colossal volume express, volume express hyper curl mascara and many more. They are long lasting and affordable. The lip balms are most talked about products. They have a variety of range and colors. The color show lipsticks and nail paints. The gel colored eye liner and the black one are again my Holy Grails. The new launches have already gained so much popularity like age rewind concealer , blushes, lip stain.

4. Loreal Paris: It has my perfect match foundation called infallible 24h foundation . It is little pricey but worth spending. (Rs 1400/-) then comes the color rich matte moist lip sticks. These infallible 24h foundation have a wide range of Colors and stays for a long time. Another favorite of mine is the mat magique all in one pressed powder , it control oil and makes your look stay mat for a long time. 5. PAC is a professional brand which isn’t easily available on stores but still has gained popularity like other drugstores. The PAC retro matte lipgloss has a good texture and stays matte for longer time without moving. PAC beauty blenders and brushes are of good quality and has a good quality. PAC HD liquid foundation is one of the top rated foundations of the year. The Pac auto lip liners and backed highlighters are also my favorite.

6. NYX professional make up soft matte lip cream ,intense butter gloss , lingerie liquid lipstick, liquid suede cream lipsticks, cosmic metals lip cream are my favorite lipsticks of 2017. NYX has some amazing eyeshadows and eye liners also.

7. LA girl: LA girl pro conceal HD concealers are most raged products of this brand. I also love their pro coverage illuminating liquid foundations. Priced at Rs 1150/- it has a very dual finish and is perfect for parties.

8. Make up Revolution is my favorite brand for setting sprays. It has amazing illuminating fix spray which gives a dual finished look and makes the make up stay for long. The luxury powder banana is another top rated products for baking. How can I not mention there palette? The ultra blush contour palette, salvation palette, redemption palette etc. The sun kissed highlighter, strobe highlighter, liquid highlighter are again top rated and affordable highlighter of the year.

9. Faces Canada makes its eye liner and kajals the best. The top rated kajal was faces ultime pro mystic kajal, the longwear eye pencil and intense gel kajal are my favorites. Apart from that the eye shadow palettes and cream shadow stick singles along with loose powder are loved by the customers.

10. Nykaa is the new favorite and a growing brand for online Indian buyers. The so matte lipsticks, paintstix along with nail paints are a good and affordable option for the make up lovers. The skin genius foundation with unique formula which adopts the one or two shades lighter or darker when blends with the skin gives dual finish and medium coverage. They make one of the long lasting kajals also.
