Review of Innisfree Apple Seed Cleansing Oil

Korean skin care is known for its double cleansing method to deep clean the skin. It is suppose to cleanse the pores from within removing both dirt and make up. In this method first we use oil based make up remover and then go in with a cleansing foam or gel to break down the oil.

The oil ensures the break down of stubborn dirt and make up where as the gel/foam helps in removing the oil from the pores making the skin clean and clear. This method doesn’t leave the skin dehydrated.

This method has a lot of benifits but yet is a time consuming process and needs two products at a time which can be little messy and not practical for a lot of people on the go. So there is this revolutionary product available in the market which can do the job of both the methods by using only one product. This innisfree apple seed cleansing oil has an unique formula, it is an oil which turns into a cleanser when in contact with water.

Packaging–

Comes in a light green clear bottel. It has a pump dispenser. That comes with a small protective flap. Packaging is not that impressive and doesn’t feel luxurious.

Formula–

It is a oil based cleanser, feels like a runny liquid. Turns into milky gel when in contact with water. It is a pleasant apple sees smell which doesn’t linger for a long duration.

Claims:

1. It claims to smoothen out flaky dead cells. It makes the skin to look and feel healthy.

2. The apple seed oil and apple sees extract helps in making skin soft and clean.

Ingredients–

Apple seed oil and apple seed extracts.

How to use-

Take few pumps of the oil and message it gently in upward direction to break down the make up or dirt and then splash some water to the turn the oil into a foam to wash off the remaining make up and dirt along with oil from the face.

My experience:

I am using this product from 3 months now and from my experience I can say that this product has helped in cleaning out my pimple. It doesn’t help in healing but the poping of pimple has reduced a lot. It doesn’t come that often as this product thoroughly cleans my pores and keeps the pimple causing germs away.

Pros-:

1. Does what it claims.

2. Makes my skin feel soft and healthy.

3. Removes stubborn make up.

4. Easy to use, hassel free.

Cons–

1. Packaging is not travel friendly.

2. Can get messy if the protective flap opens.

Recommendation–

I can recommend this all skin types. As it is very mild and gentle. It clears the pores and oil is not felt after you wash your face with clean water.

Will I repurchase-

Definitely, I really enjoy using this specially in the night time. My skin feels fresh and clean .
