Celebrating Womanhood

Hey there,

I know the day to celebrate womanhood just got over. And since through my blogs I always celebrate being a women and dedicate my posts mostly to the ladies . Here is another for those who thought women’s day is just celebrate for one day.

8th March is celebrated as International women’s day and everybody is celebrating this particular day by dedicating there sweet wishes to the inspiring ladies they have. I was scrolling down my social media and found out lot of posts by girls, boys, men and other women wishing and sharing inspirational stories about being a women or about the women they have in their lives.

I do believe that every day is women’s day but I also support that we should dedicated a particular day to wish and celebrate a women!

There are a lot of problems across the globe and if I start naming it, I don’t think I will finish untill next year 🤐but few here and there are gender equality, equal pay, equal rights and right to live those rights, safety, empowerment and what not..Well I also don’t totally agree to the fact that women and men are equal! Women are better than equal but to go till there they should first be treated equally.

And why I said they are better than just equal because inspite of all the unjust acts they still stand strong and fight for themselves and families, raise a family, produce better human beings for tomorrow and after all that till today they are fighting for equality and justice?

Don’t you think they deserve a little extra?

All these needs attention and just calling yourself a feminist won’t solve anything. To find out the roots of the problem than just demanding to solve them won’t do any good.

Anyways today we are celebrating women’s day and I don’t want to talk any negative about what is not done but I can talk about what has been done. Let’s celebrate this day by talking about the good things people have done for the glorification of womanhood.

I am going to post this after women’s day is over so that we can atleast take another day to appreciate the power of being a women! Also as I talk about equality we need to thank all the men who supports women and contributes in celebrating womanhood everyday.

To a grandmother, to a mother,to an aunt , to a homemaker, to a job holder and therefore to cut this short, to all the superwoman out there, who are relentlessly handling the chaos of their lives with altruism! I want to say a big thank you to all of them for being themselves! Because they might not know but only by their presence the world has and will become a better place to live in!
