A Miraculous Oil

Today I will be sharing a secret of mine with you girls. An oil which has miraculous properties. This is an all in one formula for maximum problems we girls face! Most of my curious cats might have started guess!! Let me help you out by reveling the secret! It is the Castor oil !

Now if you are following my blogs you might have already known my love for this current obsession of mine. I even have mentioned it during my travel essential blog! Check that out if you haven’t!

When I was a kid, I still remember my grand mom use to swear by an oil, and without which she couldn’t do anything. She always use to say Castor oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and for which she use to put it on my hair and body always before bath. As soon i grew up I discontinued using it saying it smells bad and is extremely thick and difficult to remove. That was the day and today is the day, I can’t do without my bottle of Castor oil. I recently have rediscovered about the oil and since then I have been experiencing the miracles and that is the reason I am claiming this to be miraculous.

I can literally feel the difference in my skin after just using it for 3 months now. I am currently using Aroma magic’s Castor oil which I got from naykaa.com and it was priced at Rs 115/-.

I will list down Top 5 uses of Castor oil that has shown wonderful results on my Skin:

P.S.- Castor oil has a lot of health and hair benifits as well but for that I need to do a separate blog. This is wholeheartedly dedicated for the face related uses and benifits.

Let’s get started:

1. A replacement of my eye cream.

2. It is a great Moisturizer for under eye and also helps in lightening the area! Castor oil contains highly concentrated fatty acids which penetrates deep into the skin and helps to remove dry patches. It restores hydration of the skin if regularly practised.

3. It can also be used on the entire face as a night mask if you don’t have an oily to sensitive skin. Preferably for dry skin it works wonders. It removes pigmentation as it is rich in omega-3 fatty acid which hydrate the skin,thus stimulating the growth of healthy tissue, and giving you a blemish-free ,even, supple skin.

2 . A lip oil for soft and supple lips.

1. My DIY lip scrub is also prepared using this oil with sugar! It helps in lightening the uneven skin of lips and also provided moisture. As I already have mentioned in the previous point.

3. Lightening of my scares and pimple mark.

1. It not only reduces acne but also calms the inflamed skin. Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid that fights off the acne-causing bacteria. It fades blemishes as it contains fatty acids.They help in plumping the scar tissues and allows healthy tissue to grow around it.

4. Lightened stretch marks.

1. Due to weight gain, I had some stretch marks which effectively reduced after using Castor oil.

Castor oil has a lot of nutrients such as omega 6 fatty acids, Vitamin E, ricinoleic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid etc. All these helps in deeply nourishing the hair follicles, which promotes hair growth. I massaging castor oil on my eyebrows for 5 minutes which stimulates blood circulation in the hair follicles and that triggers hair growth. Again I take an old mascara wand and dip it into my oil and apply that onto my lashes before jumping into the blanket.It helps in the nourishment of the lashes and simulates growth of new lashes and prevents the damage of the lashes due to application of mascara.

I know these looks quite a bit if you are a lazy girl like me but trust me it is not that time taking or difficult as it seems. You can anyway miss and match according to your convince and fulfill the goal of getting beautiful skin and hair .
